Was at the lights next to a RRS TD6 last week - I cannot believe the awful din from the engine at idle - London taxis are quieter - surely they can't all be like that?

Not sure, but the sport has the td6, it probably was the tdv6- different engine

Although I have the td6 which I know is louder than the tdv6 lol

Even louder when you put your foot down !

I love it ! Lol it certainly turns some heads
And is quicker than rufty tufty P38's lol

If you want a silent car, go buy a Prius ! Lol

Here I run two L322's fab in the desert and whoop the ass of LAndcruisers from the lights!SWMBO hates me taking her S/C over the dunes though, never seen a hairdressers RRS in the desert either, run a P38 DSE in the UK and love it suits the slower driving pace in UK. RRS for office dwellers and school runs!

I would rather and want a FFRR but thinking practically will probably end up getting a D3 when it is time...

i was in the same situation, either a Disco 3 or a l322

at the time, a 2003 l322 was the same price as a 2004 Disco 3.

after studying the Disco 3 more i decided the l322 was the one for me.
the disco is very boxy and practical inside, the seats are not very nice either, and the sheer size of them was enough to make my mind up.

glad i made the right decision now !

and from what i hear the D3 is a pig to work on

went for a TD6 FFRR coupe of years back (but still kept p38 for the weekends!!) RRS have a really naff interior compared to the L322.

Give me wood and leather over tatty plastic anyday

saying that, P38 interior for more durable and will out last our L322
