Ps- Could a simpleton fit the glass from the old window into the new window (and salvage all the bits to put onto the new bare metal one).

Just be careful with SP4x4, their customer services are ****e, and the parts aren't well packaged. But yes, they are cheap, see if you can collect rather than deliver and you might get better service.

I would avoid SP4x4 and spend the extra 50% with someone else. I have used them, had a complaint, and got told “packaged in cardboard, so how can it be damaged?”. Customer service is ****E, primer on parts is ****E, packaging is ****E.

I’m sure their website states you can’t collect, maybe wrong though.

Yes should be pretty easy, but you'll need some new window channels. I bought some plastic one years ago, not sure who from now, rather than the stock felt ones. But felt will be fine, they just tend to rot out quicker and attract moss/mold.

When I had my old 110 I replaced all the rotten one-piece, push-button doors with two-piece SIII ones. Not only were they cheaper but also less likely to rot from the inside and they were quite a bit slimmer so I had more elbow room while driving.
