A cheap day out this time. Lots more non Landy tat for sale than usual, with lots of antiques and junk. I bought a couple of tools for £10. I had a chat with Neil, the former LRO editor and saw @dag019 110 in the car park.

The queue to get in was longer than previous years but if you buy a ticket in advance, you bypass the queue. 😁

Yep, got there at 09.15 (pre booked) queued from the top of the field & didn't realise I was in the 'cash' queue until the queues merged . Picked up two D2 fr. radius arms, luckily de-bushed, as I've got poly bushes to go in & a couple of safari 5000 driving lamps all for £20 :). Rutland up next I think.

Hi, I've been looking for about 3 yrs now & couldn't believe my luck £10 for the lamps ( the same for the arms). I had one reflector that was shot when I got my D2 so at last I can make a good set. I think any 7" H1 reflector/lens will fit the casings but I wanted to see them in the flesh so to speak rather than buy on line & have to send them back. Hope your lad gets well soon. There's always the other spares days + Billing LR show in June plenty of stuff there, all the best. Pics of the ones that came with my D2.

Cheers! He’s fine thanks - just a little cold which he’ll soon bounce back from. Yeah right winner that was! Mine are wrapped up on a shelf lol. I managed to find a really tidy optional extra a bar too when I got mine

Have you got the brace bars for the lamps ? item 7 in the link as they do tend to wobble about depending how bad the road is.

follow the oil drips & then the big queue of landys going in

Over the years the number of landys in the carpark has decreased significantly. I remember going when I first bought the 110 and you could spend an hour or so wandering around the carpark looking at the different vehicles because 90% were land rovers with interesting modifications. This year it felt like 90% were normal cars or vans!

Well that's a little embarrassing as it is currently in a terrible state having spent the last few weeks fencing, felling and chipping, it is very grubby. I also felt there was more non land rover stuff there than previous and the land rover parts there were seemed to be a lot more body panels than mechanical and accessories. I didn't see any engines at all, and very few winches/winch bumpers there compared to previous years, which was annoying as a winch bumper was on my list. I did manage to pick up a left handed snorkel to add to the pile to be galvanised and what was claimed to be a set of '92 200tid hubs as per this thread (link) but they were the only set I saw so had nothing to compare to, just hope the seller was correct and they are the right ones.
Everything else I bought was non land rover but just outrageously cheap prices, got a nice wide headed fencing hammer, a large wheel clamp and a motorcycle chain lock all for £5 each. A cheap day and very productive day of general things from my list of wants but did not get much from my land rover list!

I did see several decent winch bumpers plus the usual tubular ones. There were several sets of 130 rims for reasonable prices but i was in Mrs K’s golf so they will have to wait. I’ll take the 90 in October…

Saw a set for £1k, is that a good deal now?
Also saw a set for £650 which is better, needed blasting though.
Son bought a military bumper, I bought nothing.
There was a lot less stalls than the last time I went a couple of years ago.

I saw two sets for around £550 which isn’t bad compared to what some ask on eBay!
