Newbie!

Hi people, Im Dave from The Wirral, Mainly a ford and VW man for my sins, BUT!
I've recently acquired for recommissioning my uncles 1997 Defender 90 thats spent the last few years buried in a collapsed railway tunnel in Liverpool!
It runs and drives, but it a bit squashed!! So i'l be on here a lot for advice and parts I should imagine!

Went into a place called Roscoe Engineering in Liverpool for a service and MOT, my unlce has used them for years. The garage is (was) based in a disused railway tunnel from the old liverpool overhead railway.
Long story short, roof of the tunnel collapsed, buried this along with LOADS of other cars, loads of homes evacuated etc. It happened in 2012 and the landy only came out on Saturday.
Air in the tyres and a booster pack and it drove out after another landy had dragged it out of the rubble!!

Haha, just googled 'Dingle Tunnel Collapse' and found a further pic of the Landy!!

doesn't look too bad considering what it's been through - mot it to see whats important - the rest is cosmetic
