Hello to all. I have owned a 1986 Land Rover 90 (NOT a Defender!) for about 2 1/2 years, which I have retro-fitted with a 200TDi engine from a rusted out 1993 wreck. In a previous life, I grappled with a 1982 109" Series 3, including rebuilding a Lacock Overdrive from first principles.
My primary interest is Vintage Cars, I also own several Austin 7's a Riley 9 and a Rover 14; the Land Rover is used as a tender and tow truck for these as well as a get-to-work tool in bad weather - we live in a very rural area. We also use it to tow a heavy Vanroyce caravan.
I have read a lot of posts on this forum, which has given me loads of help in the past, hope to contribute something in the future, although I probably don't say much!.
