Hi! I'm Ash, from the North West.
I bought a 1987 90 last year which needed a bit of tlc. She has a 200 tdi engine and a galvanised chassis which was a good a base as any I believe. I'm new to the Land Rover scene but with a bit of help from a friend who knows plenty and the knowledge on here I'm hoping to get it on the road and use it as a bit of a daily driver, and maybe (just maybe) sell it on if I can part with it (I might even let the girlfriend tow a horse trailer with it for a short while if she's lucky).
As it stands it's in several pieces, but is slowly being painted and put back together at a unit outside of work (It's what I do for a living). I will but a progress thread up but I'm not 100% sure how fast it'll progress as I'm trying to find a healthy balance between spending money on the landy and spending money on the house (first one), landy is currently winning that battle!
Here she is when I bought her (taken from advert) ....
And this is how she was last week after I painted the tub. I'll get more pictures up over the next week or so
Cheers!
