Hi guys and Merry Christmas to all.
I bought a RangeRover P38 - 2000 model, (my first), in July, and although I love it, it has not exactly been a trouble free ride.
I knew it had a few faults when I bought it, like the heated seats don't work - which I did not expect to miss very much - but that was before I found out that the problem with the air con would not be fixed by re-gassing and that the heating does not really work either and that I would be driving around in -10C temperatures this winter. Oh Well, I'm sure it is perfectly normal to have to wear two pairs of gloves and a sheepskin jacket when you take your rangey out in the winter? Speaking of which, I love the heated windscreen, it clears the passenger side really well - if only the drivers side worked too!
Already replaced the EAS compressor, and also need a new rear light lens and a drivers mirror - though to be fair they were both due to my own clumsiness rather than a fault in the car...But I have other problems that I'll post in the relevant section. I'm really looking forward to being in this forum, but I suspect I maybe a bit of drain on the resources with my 'Friday' car.
Regards
Nick
