Hello all. Let me start with a huge thank you to everyone who contributes to this (and all help sites) forum it was a valuable tool when researching buying my 2004 4.4 vogue and has been just as valuable the last 6 weeks making it ‘just so’.
Have always wanted a RR but this is my first and am very very impressed, not a lot of 15 year old cars drive like this! Although to be fair this one has had a kings ransom thrown at it over the last 5 years (9k I was told)
For those of you that give a toss here is a short intro to her, L322 2004 4.4 vogue 130k RRSH LPG (70ltr donut) Front and rear lights and bumper upgrade (to I think 2012 spec, not sure, will post a pic one day and maybe someone will tell me) 20” wheels, metallic black paint, (gunmetal wheels) all interior now LEDs, recon gearbox at 90k, new front struts, rear bags and compressor 18 months ago. All in all think I got a good un!!! Time will no doubt tell!
When I get time within the next 2 weeks I will be doing an engine/gearbox oil and filter change axles and transfer box oils plus normal service stuff. Closest ‘rent a ramp’ I can find is Hampshire, not a problem as it seems a really good clean helpful place but like all things you need to be organised for there is always something you forgot as you arrive and open the boot!
I have a couple of things I need a little help with but let’s get the introduction out of the way first.
