its also red so wont go up hills....but as the vehicle was probably registered at roger young in truro it will be salty and rusty too....

Won't pretend to understand the first bit. It was registered at Roger Young though, got the salesman's card in the book. Salt isn't too bad, it's had a new crossmember but otherwise no welding.

spray the bugger with alot of oli,get the ait vents up at the front and also blow some oil inside the baulkhead.the cornish rain gets in places you wont find, also take out all the floor mats and side covers in the footwells and get busy with the oil.the base of the a pillars is where the salt sits.....;)

Hey, I'm not complaining. The doors are off a 57 reg and already getting some rust.
yep,i have replaced my doors with some from a 1989 110,still solid.the newones are made of cheese.

if your gunna keep that wagon long term then id suggest you get it well lagged, blow some sump oil inside the chassis too as it wont be nice in there...

the other point is the body mounts on the baulk head, get em well covered in oil...

sounds like you have a journey ahead.have a look at the axles.take in how rusty the brackets are that mount the links and shocks etc too the chassis.
