Hi all,
Just a quick intro to myself: I worked for Land Rover at the Solihull plant for more years than I care to think about. Most of my time there was spent in the Special Vehicle Operations Dept. So I am very familiar with many of the bolt on and not so bolt on goodies that Land Rover adopted. Camel Trophy and all expedition vehicles past through my hands, so if anyone needs advice on winches, roll cages, twin or triple fuel tanks, power take off's etc, I can try to help you out
I should add that I spent 2 years extending Defender chassis from a 110 wheel base to a 127 wheel base. The engineers said it couldn't be done, but with good old fashioned Land Rover technology, namely a lump hammer, crow bar and plenty of sweat, we made it work!
Best 4x4 by far etc etc etc
