New to this forum,can any body help me a cutting out problem?

Hi all,basically I bought a disco
2 commercial a couple of weeks ago,I'm not used to land rovers one bit,but it's occurred a cutting out problem when driving along,it just saps power,judders,then stops,then it's a right pain to start again!my friend is brilliant with land rovers and have put new bits on,eg pump,wire harness,regulator,injector seals,but still no better?we are coming to our wits end with it as I probably been mugged off by the seller as he said it has never let him down???can any body offer of us any advice?thanks

Stop solenoid, or fuel blockage, lump of ****e in the tank which gets sucked onto filter
