Hi Guys,
My name is Chris and I'm the proud new owner of a 98 300 Tdi XS Auto.
I'm not new to the world of 4x4 but this is my firt foray into the world of the Land Rover! So far, having mostly driven vehicles with 4.0l + petrol engines I'm loving the economy. Sadly I'm missing the oomph but I'm getting used to that. A quick search of the EGR threads and I know what needs to be done to improv matters sensibly! However I do need a spot of advice from any LZ Doods/Doodettes regarding a decent mechanic in South East London (SE13/Lewisham).
Drop me a note if you have any recommendations.
On anothe rnote I do have the number for a very good bodywork guy in Newport S.Wales and in Bandon in Ireland.
Looking forwards to gettng more invovled in the LZ world!
