Hi people,
On Friday 13th I took the plunge and became a Land Rover owner for the first time. Not only that but it's my first 4x4.

Briefly, I travel 40 motorway miles round trip to work and into shooting. I've wanted a 4x4 for a while and after looking at many different types I chose the Discovery as I felt it serves all my needs.

I bought a late 2003 in gunmetal grey (apologies if that is not a Landy colour term), auto box, 95k on the clock with all the toys. The car has full service history and is in exceptional condition. The lady I bought it from loves cars and it shows, money was no object in maintaining this car. The interior looks like it came out of the showroom and the bodywork is honest.

Looking forward to getting to know people, as a newbie you can expect a load of silly questions, if this forum is anything like the shooting forum I belong to, then I'll be made up.

Thanks for reading
