Hi Every one
Just wanted to say I have read some interesting things about Walton Motors in Cranleigh on this site and its sad to say I have also been bitten by this company.
I bought a Range Rover at the begining of July this year, the guys were polite in talking me through what they would do and how expert they are with 4x4. Bought the car ... it took a month for them to get some work done .. no problem at least it would be safe. Picked it up first week Aug.
Within a month ... yep a month first week Sept, of the car being in my posession I had a major fuel leak... rang them no answer, kept rining finally got through and was told to use the warrenty company. Rang the warrenty company and my details were not registered. Took 3 weeks of back and forth finally got registered and the car fixed after a further few weeks.
When I contacted them, they stated, what did I expect as it's not a £70,000 car! I was not happy about that.
This week driving up the M3 the propshaft exploded and fell out of the car at 60 mph. Lucky it did not cause a very bad accident.
Now having the car indepentently assesed and have found other major faults, waiting for the results before I talk with Trading standards
Please be careful when buying a car from these people, nice until your money is in the bank very little support or customer service afterwards.
