I know is very hard to tell the difference but try and remember that apples are the one that grow on trees :doh:

You have varieties but the first recognised and named were in Sussex which after extensive research turns out to be in the UK

Grazing of leaf material is possible but frankly if they can't handle a swollen tuberous root they're not going to make it
