It's been a while since I last updated I had my mate do the front arb bushes for me in exchange for some paint correction to his little ulez purchase, I then replaced the lower steering column to finally sort out a minor steering issue.

Will be turning my attention to additional colour coding and paint correction on my sport. I picked up an old front sc grill and got some colour coded rattle cans off the bay. I fully colour coded my L322 and preferd it that way.

You had the better part of the deal there, i helped my mate with his tdv8 sports arb bushes and they are a pig to do due to access there was no room to get on the bolts :(

Yep the ace does make it a bit tight but my mate just dissconnected the drive shaft to get better access, took him an hour or so. Took me a week of spare time to sort his cars paint work

Nice job, I still believe there is a place for quality colour coded trim. My sons car gets regular thumbs up for matching in all the sad moulded black plastic. We’ll done.

New door handle covers they came in gloss black. Little rub down, undercoated, base coat then clear coat.

Doing oily bits is very rewarding and often necessary but every once in a while it’s great to add something that the original designer would have done especially where it takes some years off the appearance of an awesome ride. Again, we’ll done Dave.

It's been a labour of love all the mechanics are done it runs well the suspension and steering are now all good I even sorted the lpg. I promised my self to sort out the paint last I'm preparing my self for a roof respray it's been 30 years since I sprayed cars so practising on the smaller bits is good to relearn

New side vents arrived so gave them the colour coding treatment.

Finally my extra rattle cans arrived in preparation for repainting the scabby roof. Mean while iv turned my attention to a few scabby bits of body work starting with my os rear door. I had previously wet sanded and sprayed a bit of base coat for winter protection.

Here's what I started with I gave it a gentle wet sand.

Lite dusting of base coate

Clear coat done it needs a couple of days before I wet sand n hit it with the polisher.

New bonnet lettering I was going to go for the debadged look but couldn't get all the old glue of no matter what I did so new gloss black lettering it is.
As a daily driver it's all good once you get them sorted.

Revisited the supercharger today we originally fitted a solid coupler on the snout rebuild. It did introduce additional idle noise so today it got stripped again and a standard original coupler fitted.
Happy to report idle/tick over is more smooth/silent compared to the solid type.

It seems to be a well reported issue fitting a solid coupler......don't do it !! Fit a standard type.
