I've been reading the forum since buying my first Land Rover (Defender 90 300TDi) a few months ago and have picked up some really useful information so I thought it was about time that I registered and said hi.

So... Hi!

I am also looking for some assistance in selecting a roof rack. My landy originally had a galvanised roof rack, but it was huge so I sold it with the intention of buying something with a lower profile. I now have my eye on a Safety Devices G4 Expedition roof rack but I'm struggling to find any pictures other than the two on the Safety Devices website e.g.

It looks as though FrogsIsland are a reseller, which is great as they are not far from me, but I would really like to see more pictures before spending so much money.

Would anyone here happen to have this rack fitted to a Defender? If so, would you mind sharing some pictures?

Safety devices are way way way ove rpriced you can get as good if not better for a lot less money.

I'm definitely up for cheaper and better. Do you have any suggestions?

My only stipulations are that the rack must be strong, low profile, black and should be lower at the front, along with the roofline.
