Hello.
I am a new member of this forum, I live in Denmark and currently own a Freelander 1999 LN 2,0 D 98hp.
The problem is this- the car revs up and dips in revs making the car 'hop' When driving, and when stopped at lights etc.
I have been to the Landrover mechanic here in DK and the car was hooked up to a computer which shows that the fault is in the potentiometer .
I have however read from another member here that he had the same problem, the same symptoms, also same answer from the computer, he changed the potentiometer two times I think, but still the problem is the same.
The price of potentiometer here will be about £800. So, I want to be sure before I pay so much money, does anybody please have any other advice ?
