Recently purchased a TD5 - very pleased but I need to get a little more comfort when cruising on the motorway. I have been informed that the revised gearing in the transfer box combined with the power upgrade considerably enhances the comfort. Has anybody any experience of these modifications ??

Welcome chap, not sure about your question, tend to agree with WL that power and gearing wont help comfort unless your sitting in the wrong place...welcome anyhow

would say the only improvement would be less noise in the cab tbh .
not sure what yer looking for its a deepender after all , i took my td590 (56 plate) to france last year did 450 miles in a day none stop (less the ferry crossing of course:D) but got out at dover fresh as a daisy and the same at our destination in france.
me and my mate i took (fishing with trailer full of gear) are both over 6'2" and we were both impressed with how good we felt (no more uncomfortable than a car)
