ahh sorry i know bugger all about paint so here's the quote i got from carpaint.co.uk

thats cellulose, don't use it as it will fade in no time.
I have this past week painted a classic Rangie in Lincoln Green and have done it in 2 pack paint, have used 3 ltr of paint-1.5 ltr of hardener-.5 ltr of thinner. each panel has had 3 coats of paint and then one thin top coat that will be polished. Total cost of the paint and hardener was £95.00 +Vat.

there are many autopaint internationals around the ****ry try one of them. You will find that Land Rover "solid" colours are very good at covering and do not require loads of paint to stop "bleedthrough" of the primer below, which is why you don't need vast quatities of it besides any more than 3 coats of paint and it will chip off very easy.
