Hi everyone.

This sat i am finally achieving an ambition after 30 years, yep getting my first Landy. Picking it up from the dealers in the morning, cannot wait. I used to work in a garage doing bodywork. When one evening my old Escort was nicked

. So the boss lent me his old series1

, that was it i was hooked but it has taken me all this time to get one( this happened in 1976). I am getting C reg 90 so will have to get out the old tool box. looking fowards to browsing through the old posts.

I know they say "Take you time when choosing a Land Rover" but 30 years is dragging it out just a bit!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum Keith, nice motors the 90's. Time to polish off those tools and say goodbye to your weekends.... (the joys of Land Rovers!)

Thanks for the reply's. It did not take me 30 years to choose one, it took 30 years to convince Mrs Browning that i needed one as a second car. Will post some pics soon.

Have been out today to the beaters day at a shoot, it was nice to be one of the vehicles that could get out of the parking field without a push for once.
