Hi I just joined the site as I am now the proud(?) owner of a 1984 Series 3 as a retirement present. This is a SWB van body with 2.25 petrol engine. I bought it for winter use around the Staffordshire hills where I live. Not sure now whether this was a good idea as it is becoming a challenge to find all the places where rain can get in. Nevertheless I will continue the project as it is a low mileage and the chassis is in very good nick. Will no doubt be coming back for advice on problems as I find them.
