new motor???

hi guys! have been driving a series 3 88 inch 2.25 diesel for a good 9 months now,loved every single moment,appart from braking down and having no brakes! hahah, but was looking to get another one,as i want to sell mine! had my fun with her,spent some money,and think its time for a change! all i wanted to ask was has anyone owned or does anyone own an ex-mod series 3 109,as i quite like the idea of one! i was going to have my mum and dads disco 1,but who wants to go from a series to a disco,not me anyways! i did see them up for auction for about 1750 a few months ago,but wud like to spend abit more,to fetch a half decent one! i am aware they are 24 volt tho! any suggestions?

i did see a cracker might have been on autotrader a few weeks ago near tring, asking price was £2,250 trade, can't remember whether px was an option.

was sorely tempted but managed to resist, would have to sell both the s1 and s3 to be allowed a purchase like that, kids would love it tho

yea iv always fancied a long wheelbase petrol,the diesels are good dont get me wrong,but the petrols are quieter,and have abit more get up and go,and a higher fuel consumption too,hahaha! i only have 3 months left on insurance,so will be thinking in the next couple of months,so i have some time! was going to have a discovery,but started having second thoughts about not having a series! u lucky barstweard,u have two! although so do i,so makes me one too! hahaha
