2 amber lights on and stay on one for ABS the other for Traction control. Thay don't stay on every trip is this a serious issue and how can it be fixed please

this could be the start of the infamous "3 amigos". There's loads of information here on the forum about it.
Before you go any further, get the codes read with a compatible code reader, especially in the SLABS ECU.
Thanks for your answer how much will it cost to retrieve thesee codes I don't have a reader?

At a Land Rover main stealer, I'd be thinking about a second mortgage!
Maybe there's a LandyZone member in your area who can help out.
If you're thinking about keeping your Disco I'd consider buying a code reader, but make sure that it is compatible; Nanocom, Hawkeye or Lynx. There is another one which @sierrafery keeps mentioning too which is a bit cheaper.
As the Disco gets older, more troubles might start appearing, so even if you find a "nice" indie garage to read the codes for you, it's still likely to cost anything between 50 and 80 quid per visit! Don't ask me why, I reckon they see it as a "captive audience", so it might be worth considering your own.

i've had this same problem. 2 lights very occasionally and only under constant stop/start braking in traffic. then i had the 3 amigos. found someone with a nanocom and traced it to the nearside front hub. reset the lights but not got around to changing the hub yet. however, i have recently acquired a braking wobble from higher speed. i also previously felt a very slight pulsing under light braking at slow speed. i now strongly suspect a warped disc which could possibly be setting off the warning lights, registering as a hub fault. when i get paid, i'll be getting a new set of front discs and pads and checking the calipers for sticking...

Thanks to all for info is any one Wisbech area that could plug in your diagnostic code reader to checknow my td5 please?
