Evening folks.

I've come here to get info for my girlfriend's Freelander.

No longer own a Landy myself, but when I did they were good 'uns!

Happy days, wish i had them now!

Saab 93 estate (stop-gap for my usual van but I kinda like it) and half a dozen old bikes. Now, THEY keep me busy!

Ah, sorry! 2006 TD4 3 door. Absolute tip inside of course but she loves it. Handbrake's crap though, even I have trouble getting it to bite; I've replaced the shoes and cables, it passed the MOT but the tester must've had gorilla arms!

Go in the Freelander section, then in the search bar type ‘TD4 handbrake’ , click ‘this forum only’ plenty should come up from others that have had that problem

If there is nothing there then ask in that section and plenty of people will help

I've already had a browse.... looks like a strip and rebuild is in order. Seems to be a weak point of the car.
