Hi, I'm Mark.
I'm 35, a little over 6ft, and like to think I'm tall dark and you know the rest. I'm looking for a girl with a GSOH, laid back and WHOA......Wrong forum!!
Ok, I've recently bought a 4x4! An 04 Freelander TD4!! (I know.....this introduction just went from bad to worse).
Having driven a few Landy's in the past I've always been impressed with their capabilities. I know their reliability isn't up there with Honda, but it adds character!
The Freelander will be my daily drive replacing my current A3 TDi Quattro. I needed something with 4x4 capability, ground clearance but still return a reasonable MPG. I'm hoping the Freelander will live up to my expectations.
I know one end of a hammer from the other, so fixing most of the issues I've read about in the Freelander Forum (that place paints a bleak picture....Thread after thread of woe!) should be within my capabilities. The good thing is it seems just about every problem imaginable has been encountered, documented and remedied for others to follow.
I have a couple of other cars in the fleet, one of which is a pain in the @rse to get a jack under....I'm looking forward to altering the suspension height in the opposite way to which I normally do!
I'll stop rambling now and just say Hello all!
