There's plenty of nice TD5 and TDCi Defenders to keep us going for years.

I personally don't like the TDCi with the new dash, plus l don't like Ford diesels, but the rest of it is still a Defender. I just sold my van and bought a 2005 TD5 110 CSW for use in my business.

I've had it four weeks and done 1,200 miles already. I am in and out of the Land Rover all day, and l love driving it.

The new fenders aren't really within many people's budget either. Not saying that LR have to copy the G Wagon but Mercedes are clearly doing something right whilst staying true to the original vehicle

They haven't gone up that much only abit more than inflation. These will no doubt be a step up though in price but they will still ne bought. Still jalf the price of a g wagon they've really gone up in price !

Unfortunately we primitives who want a simple basic vehicle with as few gimmicks and electronics as possible are a very niche market, and not a profitable one.

Most people think the gadgets are wonderful, and can't see why you wouldn't want them.
