New Key for Disco

Hi All - when I bought my Disco (some 18 months ago) I was only given one key. Now it's pretty well knackered as the buttons have disappeared. Any idea where I might get a replacement?

Depends what Disco, but for mine I got a new casing from ebay .. fitted working and has stayed that way for about 2 years now ..

Sounds like a plan, Paul. Mine's a 2002 td5. Would a casing from Ebay do the trick? If so, how do you program the chip/alarm?

buy a repair kit from ebay,just use the original module from your own key.no programming needed then.

plus i have a nanocom for re-coding rover 75,mini one keys if needs be.these fit the disco 2 as well.

James; yes, a bit risky. I need to get another key really.

If you have standard LR fitment immobiliser, this crowd may be a source for a second fob. Never tried them, and they seem pretty expensive, but not found a sensible alternative to be honest.
