As part of my repairs/preventative maintenance i've been going around my 200tdi Disco 1 replacing things etc. I just fitted a new radiator, which has solved my cooling problem, the last was full of clay that would not budge!
So now i'm thinking I should probably replace my intercooler as it is in a reasonably bad way as well and I can't manage to clear it out. Has anyone any recommendations? None of my local EuroCarParts etc actually stock one, I can get one through Paddocks but there are a lot of different versions, some are 'high performance' and shockingly expensive.
What is a good decent one that will be worthwhile on a vehicle I plan to own for a long time? If I got a high performance one, does that allow me to tweak things like boost up a bit further?
