I think by the time i bought them if i'd tried that i'd have been chased out of the dealership by mechanics with large tools in their hands!
The second one is sat in the garden with a knackered rear axle, second hand one in the back. And a knackered gearbiox which started making horrible noises on the way back from collecting the second axle, then lost reverse and fifth, then managed to get reverse, now 'stuck' in a gear that doesn't go forwards OR back!
Now trying to decide whether to scrap, fix, break or use the rolling chassis with another gearbox to put under something else. I once followed an old Mini perched on top of a shortend Range Rover chassis that looked like fun!
