Hi new guy here
Been reading a lot on discovery models,Have to say i have only ever owned toyotas so far but im thinking of going for a discovery maybe discovery 2 or discovery 3
So from those who know them best which is the best model? pros and cons?

Loads of pros and cons to both! Td5 disco 2 has a bullet proof engine but finding one that isn't being eaten by rust is hard.
Disco 3 is a totally different beast. Smoother and more powerful but far more expensive to buy and repair. Most repair bills seem to be over £600 a time for some reason.

If you want a disco to work on at home go for a late good condition td5 that's been well loved.

If your after something abit newer and more comfy the disco 3 is the one to go for but you will have to sacrifice being able to fix it cheaply and easily at home.

love the look of the disco 3. but since i do all the work on my trucks at home so im going to go and have a gander at a td5.
My toyota have been great as in easy to maintain and cheap to run ,I want to drive both and see how they differ
