New Freelander - I know !

Hi - Just joined up. Been looking for a cheap 4x4 that would suit the family and just bought a V6 2001 ES. It had faults and I got it cheap. It has 55k and, having searched this and other sites, I have solved the HDC fault (switch internally damaged but repaired), the brake squeak, the locked radio, the missing CD changer magazine and have just recieved a new diff bush to reduce the clonk - bush is shot.

So far, it is fab ! I love the V6 although 23mpg is the price. But as I only do low mileage it is a really useful vehicle. I looked at all the reliability problems and am prepared for some work !! Just finished an MGB full rebuild (am I allowed to mention !?) so have some mech knowledge and also electrics is my thing. Bought a Rover 75 manual for the engine detail as it is not in the freelander one.
