Come on Tony, what would you choose, P38 or woman and beer:D:D

well I went back to it last night....
double checked the pump, set cam lobe to vertical...

fit dial gauge, rotate to lowest point and set the zero

find TDC and adjust pump "towards engine" on final adjustment

remove gauge, fit fuel lines (and all other engine bits) clear old faults with Nanocom crank crank crank crank crank crank fire-up!!! :high5::D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

One point i just noticed. The dial gauge in the photo is set reading 0.09 mm not 0.90 mm. Also if you fitted new chains it should be set to 0.95 mm.

Last night I stripped off the metal fuel lines, and did the pump timing again this time going all the way to 0.90 not 0.09

didn't have any juice in the battery to crank it so that will be a job for tonight :D

Good man. This battery sounds a bit of a duffer to me. What have you got in a PP9? :D:D
