Hi all, just returned my 2007 manual to the garage after a test drive - too dangerous to take it away.
I had it trailered there a couple of weeks ago as a bolt sheared off on the wishbone bringing it to a halt, and it damaged the drive shaft & wishbone winching up on the recivery truck so needed both replacing: lucky it wasn't a serious accident.

Now the car pulls sharply to the left on aceleration (into oncoming traffic in France) and is too dangerous to drive anywhere. Anyone experienced this, or ever had a driveshaft replacement?

I would suggest that something on the suspension is bent. This would throw the geometry out, possibly causing torque steer. The driveshaft isn't likely to be the culprit.

Yes, I did some searching on the web this afternoon, seems like the geometry still needs sorting. Very dissapointed the Garage suggested it was ready for pick-up as clearly ir wasn't safe to drive..
