must admit I bought genuine Land Rover discs and pads and to be honest don't know how they compare with other makes
just felt I wanted to buy what I knew if that makes sense , the old discs had become scored where the left hand side caliper had seized and also had to buy another caliper, one brake pad had gone down to the metal causing damage to the disc
they were the ventilated discs
since it being done found the car stops considerably easier and quicker with no pulling to one side
did make the mistake first time of not cleaning and using enough coppaslip as it squeeled like hell, so had to strip them all down again
excluding the caliper think I paid around £150 for both discs and a set of pads
had to also replace the rear broken spring, decided to replace both sides complete, with new struts and springs , made it drive like a new car
didn't want to trust britpart so went for all genuine again
that was a couple of years ago and couldn't belive the difference, sorry sidetracking again
