Hi I am new to this but was wondering if anybody can help with my problem.
I have just sold my 09 defender 90 and picked up my new one, it has the new 2.2 engine, now the problem this thing is eating diesel but ha oh it's new, but I have noticed that when changing gear the revs do not return to idle sometimes sticking at 2600 revs, Land Rover have said this is part of the design to make life better for the transmission which I find hard to understand as defender are built to work, but the BIG problem is the sometimes when you lift off the accelerator the throttle will stick or hold for 2/3 seconds, this is not always only sometimes but my wife has now refused to drive it as it did it 3 times to her and she had to brake sharply to avoid hitting the car in front, land rover seem to think this is acceptable.
Has anybody else had problems like this ?
