New clutch slips?

Ok, so I've fitted the spacer as a first test, when undoing the two screws that hold the slave in place I could see it pushing it's self way from the clutch bell housing, so it was in there constantly pushing the clutch. However I need more than one of these spacers, they are about 1.5mm - 2mm thick, I think at least two if not three are needed. One fitted has improved things though.

Manual? your saying there's a manual for this???

I have a Haynes manual somewhere for it, not a clue where or what I done with it, last seen about 4 or so years ago, never owned a genuine Landrover Series manual however.
