Hi Guys
Being old enought to have had a ford cortina mk1 as a first car I have been on many forums, I must say that only recently having been sold a lemon of a Feelander I have found this forum to be informative and helpful with out the usual BS of the ones that think they know.
My Wifes freelander has so far blown turbo hoses, done the no power under low revs and emmisions light coming on, the rear grind on turnig (still to fix). I seemed to have cured the low power thing by 3 bottles of redx injector cleaner, and an exhaust cleaner (all on offer at Tesco for £2 and £4 currently) a full oil change and a run to Portsmouth @130 miles it was so bad the car cut out twice on hills, not good when you live 1000 ft up.
I have noted the EGR removal tips and have one ready to fit. I hope I can be of assistance to members in the future as i do know my way round an engine. Many thanks fro all the info
