Hi, I'm the proud owner of a 90 1988 TD. Very exited and already love it to bits.
A little upset though as I've only had it a couple of days and the gears are playing up. They are really grating and it will not even go into fith.
Can anybody help.

My location is NW UK, between Manchester and Liverpool.
Look forward to hearing from anybody and if you have any news to cheer me up it would be great.

Hi Trevor.

Where abouts are you from?

Not really sure about your gearbox problem. Roy on the site has a 90 with a gearbox problem as well!

He may know someone who can help.

Sorry for getting back so late. Super Volcano no.2, scary stuff!
Just outside Warrington, Cheshire.
If anybody else has info with regards to a good mechanic it would be great.

Thought provoking. Same as global warming, global dimming, super tsunami etc.......

Have you tried http://www.mud-club.com/. Bigger site so maybe someone will be able to help.
