Maybe, but you'd need to be a lot further south than the borders! :D

I think my wife might have something to say about it ..or at least I'd hope so!

Can anyone help with the small flat washer for presumably the top swivel pin? It look like copper on one side and is dimpled on the other - where does it go? Under the plain washers, on top, next to the flat bearing washer etc? Its because its the abs version...

Thanks!

The upper pin has a flat washer type bearing with needle rollers in it, I assume that either side of this go the two flat steel washers, then i would assume the copper washer with the dimpled soft stuff on it goes simple side up and the pin sits on this so it grips the pins mating surface.

The inside of the bearing cup also has this same soft dimpled stuff which looks like a sort of copper/graphite 'alloy'. It looks like the top pin should be be surrounded on all sides by this stuff when its sitting in the bearing... Does that make sense?

Giving up for the night now after making a silly mistake and cross threading a bolt on the axle - one if the ones that holds he swivel ball on! The tap wouldn't straighten it out so ended up having to drill out the first few turns of the thread with a 9.5mm bit. Bit of a sphincter clenching moment there :(

Well I decided that washer was a red herring - it made the top pin way too high and I don't know where else it could go, so I assume it must be for a different model.

...much like the 3 seals I have left over! I used one, but the rest just seem to be extraneous. Ahh well, it would be nice to at the very least have a parts list do they can be cross referenced, but there's nothing like that in the box.

Anyhow, all done now, and just in time before it started ****ing it down! Thanks for the help guys..

Ok, just thought I'd post up those pics, bit late now as it's all back together but all the same :)

First pic is the thrust washer bearing, with the odd copper washer jobby and the plain washers. Second pic is the chromed ball with the new bearing installed - I don't know if you can make out the the interior of the bearing, it's the same as the odd washer.

...hmm, it's probably better if I actully upload the pictures to the thread!
