Hi all and a very happy new year

Sorry to be really dull and ask a question on first post but over time have realised that online forums are a font of knowledge on all matters.....

Want Defender 90. So which engine? Seem drawn to TD5 as they are newer.........your thoughts please.

Prefer hard top in dark colour
Budget 6k to maybe 8k
Flexible budget as I want some leeway to get new BFG ATs and any work / servicing that might be req. If car is really good then may spend all 8k on it

basically all you fans out there, if u had my budget and wanted a 90, what would you buy?

people like that i have no time nor patience for got a budget of 6 to 8 grand should be able to get a near perfect second hander from a main stealer for that kind of wonga

with a little bit of haggling knowledge

i was gonna suggest searching this site to him and reading about common faults and things to look for when buying like rotten brake pipes and worn ball joints and such but ooohhh nooo at the first sight of a bit of banter his dummy got spat out and hit mach 1 as it blew through the brick wall of his livingroom w@nker
