The intercooler pipes like to delaminate inside and you end up with a balloon of rubber flap blocking them.
Did you take them all off or just look at the outside?yea i checked all of that and no bits in turbo that i could see and all pipes looked in tact to me

They are the thick pipes that go to the intercooler. If you look through the grill of your Landy you will see a small radiator in front of the big one. This is the intercooler. Look down the back of the radiator from the engine bay and you will see where the thick hoses enter alongside the main radiator. They bubble on the inside like this......

You can't see what's happening from the outside. You have to take them all off and check them.
Egr valve or turbo seizing.ok thanks alot i will have a look tomorrow and hope that that is the problem its just weird that it dosnt do it all the time though isint it ????
if they are fine is there anything else it could be ???
Egr valve or turbo seizing.
My money is on the hoses.
Black smoke means there is too much fuel in relation to the air.
