hi all. im new to the site and new to off roading. i say new but i used to do it with my stepdad years ago in an old disco the reached for the sky, but that was a long time ago and i have spent my days on motocross bikes. now its time for a change, i have just shy of 2000 to spend, maximum, is that enought to buy a beat up old 110, maybe, with a long m.o.t????????? so i can get back into things at the shallow end

i say, maybe, a 110 because i dont really know what i want. i definatly want something i wouldnt want to hurt, wheres the fun in a landy that u dont want to get muddy! i looked at a 90 but they do seem to be more expensive, and my step dads disco cost him millions to keep the rust from eating the whole car, so i thought maybe a 110 would be a good choice? but are they 'much' less capable off road?

i want something mostly for greenlaning and maybe some fords and things, just gentle stuff to start with, but i do have a bad habit of taking everything to some silly extreme so this will change quickly!

any advice anyone can offer would be very very much appreciated!!!!

many thanks

dan
