NCD from abroad?

I have 8 years NCD from the UK up until 2012, when we moved to Portugal and where I earned a further 4 years. We´re now back in the UK.

I´ve been having a hard time finding an insurer that accepts NCD from abroad, and the one I´m with at the moment (Direct Line) won´t even honour the 8 years I earned in the UK.

Any suggestions of a decent insurer that´ll do the honourable thing and accept my NCD from Portugal?

Looked at Lancaster Insurance. Decent quote but had never heard of them and no where on the website says if they accept foreign NCD or not (too late to ring them now).

Unfortunately you UK NCD will be out of date by now, however we do have access to a number of schemes that will accept foreign NCD. If you wanted to PM me I'd be happy to arrange a quotation for you.
