Matt black is very difficult to make look good. It also scratches and holds dirt pretty badly, have you considered using a satin finish instead? I painted my 90 with matt nato green and instantly regretted it, once the rebuild is completed it will be sprayed satin instead.

That looks like a tidy truck, is the paint in good nick at the moment or will you have to strip it?

Welcome to the forum btw :D

Hey boris thanks for the input its nice to talk to someone with a landy not many in cardiff city hahaha i agree matt is difficult to keep perfect but once i get new doors mine are a little gone ill paint prep you have to agree matt is cheaper and easier to replace xwhats ur landy? my paint is pretty good js flakin bad and scratched up

Not a problem mate. There may be a couple of quid difference in a can but i think it's worth it still. Any paint supplier that can provide matt nato will be able to provide satin as well. I would say that satin is more forgiving when you apply it.

If you click my profile you should be able to see a picture of a soft top 90 (matt nato green applied with a brush) hooked up to a big flatbed trailer. I cleaned the 90 the day before the picture was taken and it hadn't been anywhere dirty, but you will see what I mean about matt paint 'holding' the dirt.
