That's exactly the paint I used off ebay (made by Marathon). I also used the same colour primer which I had to get from a different supplier. I was expecting it to be a little darker than it is but hey ho.
Thanks for all the positive messages all you guys, much appreciated :D:D

Hi Karlos Paint used in above post and yes, I thinned it slightly by adding and stirring in about two capfuls per roller tray ... seemed about right as it was a warm day and was going tacky fairly quickly.

Cheers :)

Nice one fella, I'd be happy if mine looked half as good as yours! Was yours back to bare metal? So you primed it? Cheers!

No bare metal but as I was sanding it I got some just in case. I then primed the few bits that had been slightly rusty or oxidised and then thought what the hell, I may as well undercoat the rest! I then lightly sanded all of the undercoat before top coating.
:)

Been away for a few weeks so just found

Well done Pal - looking great without the writing on the side

Well deserved praise - presuming the mud has now been applied:D

Thanks SH ... may just add a LR logo to the front of the bonnet (Disco Style) but still debating that one. I must say I'm really pleased to have done it and still have plenty of paint left to stay on top of things when needed.
No mud yet but looking at the weather down here it won't be long ;)

Other cosmetic job I'd like to do is to fit a Safari style snorkel instead of the mushroom top.

Also a full Polybush fitting is on the cards as a job to do a bit at a time :)

Take care buddy and thanks for the praise :)

Massive long shot as it's a very old post but, is there any chance you have any more pics . This is exactly the colour I want on my 110
How did the paint last over time?
