hi guys me again..
I've had a look around the forum and there seems to be quite a few potential problems but nobody ever seems to be able to confirm a fix for this so here's my problem..
Took the new fl out for a run last night (bought it for a song from a dealer who had done an engine change on it and the customer decided to chop it in instead) as it's got a vibration at 2000 revs in most gears but especially in 5th on the auto box it's almost I drivable like the prop is bouncing up and down.. Got under it last night as I suspected the prop bearings hey presto shot to hell took the prop off and took it for another run but loan behold it's just as bad n still there... It feels as though it's coming from the back but I don't see how it only does it under power lift off and it goes foot down back it comes.. The box has a bit of a wine in low gears 1/2 so I'm wondering if it's the atf that's burnt and not flowing around the box properly.. Thoughts or am I barking up the wrong tree? It's almost like a misfire but the engine is spot on no movement on the revs at all.. Box has done 144k engine replaced as previous blocked an oil gallery and shafted the crank n 1 cylinder..

Check engine mounts, especially the rear one, and check rear diff mounts x3 but the front rear one is the main culprit, plenty of threads on hear about these. Mike
Cheers mike, oils cheap engineering to me so yeah the ird and auto box are on the list, I did wonder if it could be the diff mounts but I kinda ruled them out with the prop shaft off??? I'll check the engine mounts as if possibly Wrongly Ruled them out it just having a replacement motor in by a dealers.. I suppose it could be easily missed.. Cheers dan

Fab, lots to look at and check out... it does feel like its coming from the back, its like having a buckled wheel but its not coming from one particular side, but then ive had that before and turned out that the vibration was transferring from somewhere completely different..
I thought the Auto box oil change was going to be the tricky bit after reading around.. lol..
