Leave it with me and see what’s in my terminal box if any are similar in shape

Has the TE ref in the title so at least hopeful

This is the shape for the female terminals, but the other tool the guy at TE said it will do both

Sorry for the late reply Gary, internet keeps dropping in and out here, think it's my phone tbh.
Anyhoo, had a play with one of the new terminals this morning and the 'ears' definitely do not press in.
The tool must just spread the plastic terminal plug slightly. I think I'll buy one new plug kit ,replace that on the landy then have a play with the old rusted up one and see which home method works best for removal. I can't justify buying the whole kit you've got or the individual tool (£65-90:eek:). Bloody robdogs:p.

don’t be daft , glad it was useful to u

indeed that’s a good idea to buy a complete connector so can then at least see how they come out

there are some cheaper terminal extractors on ebay

u can buy them from a uk supplier, alas I bought the set that I did because of the amount of connectors I had to take apart , after previous owners had done some outstanding bodges , lol

also when I want to run new speaker cables I can run them through the existing multi block connectors , the ones that go from the body to the door that has the rubber sleeve over , there all hidden then and sneaky way of going directly through the connectors

Plse let us know how things go and will be interesting if u don’t mind taking some piccies plse of the terminals , so will then know for future how they come out

Pleased it helped in a small way

Well..I've prised me wallet open and coughed up for a chinesiem keyring set, 36 pieces and I bet none of them fit:rolleyes:
£5 odd bloody robdogs.
