Picked up a 2004 Freelander TD4 3 door. Got her in 2019, with covid and a filandering wife and divorce , only started working on her (the hippo) Sept last year.

She passed her MOT on 2nd attempt. Not bad for a car that been sitting for nearly 4 years.

Work so far, it's quite a list and not finished.

Replaced Rear diff
All new diff mounts
New carrier Bearings
New front wishbones
Full service, inc all filters, and she has a lot...
New fuel tank brackets (still to be fitted)
Rear window regulator replaced.

Then the nice stuff. Picked up a nice leather gator and gear knob, leather stearing wheel with remote controls.. all fitted and look well.

Set of seats from breakers. Nice black ones. thought they we're leather. But after 8 hours and 3 bottles Dr becket and 1001, turned out a heavy black material. Still quite nice. Those now fitted.

Located a rear boot cover, to Pick up Saturday all being well.

Picked up a shower cover, and a canvas soft top..but there for summer, if we get one this year.

First 1000 miles and complete brake failure. The pin in rear drum problem. Currently rebuilding them.

Need a silver drivers door,so on the lookout for that..not urgent, but mine a bit rusty and dented..

All in all, once I get the brakes done, I'm happy..
