my v8

I thought i would share a couple of pis of my disco

have had it 2 weeks now its a lovely motor and got a full landy history aswell i have just had the the air bags replaced with springs and a new hand barke fitted next is to replace one headlight as its odd was replaced with a 300tdi unit

having had shoguns for a while well happy with the disco

yea, gotta love a v8 disco, just a shame about the mpg lol

not jealous of the v8 mpg though. used to have a v8 rangey classic and it used to make me cry back when petrol was a snip over 80p a litre.

does lpg put any realistic dent in the running of the v8s?

You mean mpg or cost? Lose 1 - 2 mpg. But it's half the cost of petrol.

I just filled mine up on LPG i had averaged 10.5mpg, but this is just driving about locally like popping to mates etc, not to bad when you think a gallon of LPG is about £3.50 still npt cheap but i love the v8 haha on a run i can get 17ish if im lucky. good enough for me with 150litres of lpg on board haha

Ive been getting about 22mpg on petrol is it really that much of a drop? I dont care either way I love the v8 sounds when pulling through deep mud.

My lpg systems on its last legs its not running well, getting it changed to a multipoint soonish will report back after

cheers for comments it really aint that bad on petrol i dont think im getting aoround 80-90 mile to quater of tank im not sure what that works out in mpg but that is a mix of town and lond distance driving

I have a multipoint on my 2003 V8. 80 litre tanks.... Nice motor very pleased

lol yeah just after dawn them pics was and was out in the lanes the fogs come in handy out there
